Drawing from his active case docket, Carmen Caruso is a frequent author and lecturer on trial technique and franchise law for the American Bar Association (Forum on Franchising), the International Franchise Association, and numerous other trade associations and publications. He is frequently sought by members of the news media for information and commentary on franchise issues in the news, and decisions in his cases have been the subject of commentary by the American Bar Association (Forum on Franchising) and the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin.

Carmen has recently served as revisions editor for two publications that are available through the American Bar Association:

  1. The Franchise and Dealership Termination Handbook (Revisions editor in 2008 for Chapter One, “What is Termination?”), publication forthcoming by the American Bar Association, Section of Antitrust Law.
  2. Franchise Desk Book: Selected State Laws, Commentary and Annotations, Second Edition (Revisions editor in 2007 for Illinois law chapter), available through the American Bar Association (Forum on Franchising).
